Travon Ridley-Evans dresses the room before it knows it is being watched.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan, and started modelling at twenty-five, later than most. Within a few years he had walked and sat front row in Miami, New York, Milan, Paris, and Tokyo, and appeared on the covers of Vous Magazine, Looplite, 6X Magazine, and Trendsetters Only. Vogue and FASHIONSNAP have photographed him on the street in Tokyo. At Cannes he is the one in the crystal-trimmed dinner jacket.
The agency
In 2023 he founded Nonpareil Multimedia and PR Agency, a full-production house that handles creative direction, editorial and campaign photography, fashion show production, and publications for designers and brands. The agency produced the Fashion Wow Magazine launch during Miami Art Basel 2023, staged shows in Milan, and has since partnered with Trendsetters Only, which devoted a special issue to the collaboration. He is the creative director behind most of the covers he appears on, and several he does not.
The house
NONPAREIL Style launched on 27 September 2025 during Milan Fashion Week. It is an invitation-only luxury house: bespoke tailoring, fine jewellery, leather goods, and the experiences around them, from a swim collection shot in Miami to a dinner staged on the sand in Koh Samui. The debut collection put tailored suits beside Thai silk gowns, made with master tailor Ram Bhandari of Bangrak Bespoke Tailor in Bangkok. The Pre-Spring 2027 collection, titled CONFIDENCE, showed at The Consul Club in Bangkok in August 2026.
Asked by Vous Magazine where the idea came from, he pointed to a tailor’s studio in Bangkok, watching European cut meet Thai embroidery. “I didn’t want to appropriate; I wanted to fuse.”
